ISSCT & ITS ACTIVITIES

 

The International Society of Sugar Cane Technologists is an association of scientists, technologists, managers, institutions and companies/corporations concerned with the technical advancement of the cane sugar industry and its co-products. The ISSCT has been in existence for 84 years during which it has organized 26 Congresses usually at 3-year intervals.  In between the Congress, ISSCT also organizes workshops for discussion among the specialists on key issues affecting the industry.

The 27th ISSCT Congress shall be taking place in Veracruz, Mexico in 2010.  This will be the first Congress of ISSCT to take place in Mexico.  The details of the Congress, Post Congress etc. shall be finalized by the ISSCT soon.  The members interested in knowing further details can also contact The Mexican Sugar Technologists Association :
